Session 1 – Power BI Options for SharePoint, by Jon Lunn
In this session we’ll be covering what is Power BI, how it fits in with Azure and the data and analytical services. Also covered will be the Licensing Options, Embedding in SharePoint Online (and Teams), Power BI Embedded, O365 admin setting and use cases that have been encountered whilst working with clients.
Jon Lunn is a Senior consultant in Data and Analytics for Ricoh, and has advised and delivered Power BI projects to a number of companies from small 4 person companies to multinational roll outs.
Session 2 – It’s gonna be PowerApps and Flow – are your IT Pros ready?, by Penny Coventry MVP
Microsoft Flow is free, plus, if you have an Office 365 tenant, then all your users will be able to use PowerApps – but do you want everyone in your organisation to create a Flow or PowerApp that can connect to anything? In this session, Penny will look at managing Flow and PowerApps, she will cover the Flow and PowerApps admin centers, Environments, Data Policies, and how to keep up to date when new connectors are released. She will discuss how to create a dev, test and production environments.
Penny Coventry is an author, independent consultant and trainer, who focuses on the design, implementation, and development of solutions based on Office 365 services and on-premises SharePoint Technology, including PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and Power BI. Penny lives in Hinckley, Leicestershire with her husband, Peter and dog, Poppy.
