01/08/2018 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a night of discovering more about what you can do, and get from Office 365. An event for the community driven by some of the most passionate contributors in the community. The event will consist of two sessions, with free food being served in between. Beverages for the evening are free.

Session 1 – Exploitation of SharePoint from Flow using REST, by Matt Weston (MCT)

Within this session we’ll learn how you can use Microsoft Flow to interact with the SharePoint REST API in order to undertake actions not currently available within Flow. This session will look at the SharePoint actions, what can achieved by calling the SharePoint REST APIs, and when you should consider using each approach.

Matt Weston is the Principal Consultant for SharePoint and Office 365 at Ricoh UK.

Session 2 – Apply Data Visualization to your modern SharePoint lists using Column Formatting, by Brett Lonsdale (MVP)

Within this session, we’ll learn how you can make column values stand out using column formatting. If your team require Key Performance Indicators, Trend Analysis, Charts, Mapping, or Conditional Formatting so that they can understand list content at a glance, then this session will help you. We’ll look at how to apply column formatting, what type of column formatting you can create, and finally how to create column formatting either manually using JSON or which the Column Formatter web part. You’ll hopefully leave this session with excitement, so that your users can benefit from a better understanding of SharePoint content.

Brett Lonsdale is a Office Servers and Services MVP, host on, and founder/owner of Lightning Tools
