    PointSolutions UK, a Microsoft Partner, are looking for a Permanent Senior\Lead SharePoint Developer to join our expanding team, you will be a significant and senior part of the Technical Delivery team reporting into the Technical Director.

    This role offers the opportunity for the successful developer to work in an environment that enhances and develops their management skills while taking a leading role in the development of SharePoint and Office 365 Apps, including our SharePoint based HR software, PeoplePoint356.

    You will have an extensive knowledge of on premise SharePoint development, with experience of developing solutions in SharePoint Online, as well as having a good understanding of the Office 365 platform and Azure.
    You will have experience of developing server side solutions as well as client side solutions in SharePoint Online using various deployment methods, SharePoint Add-in Model and Office 365 Apps in Azure.
    You will have relevant Microsoft Accreditation’s in SharePoint and Office 365 development as well as a relevant degree in Computing\Computer Sciences.
    You are self-motivated and enthusiastic about keeping up with the latest development trends and techniques and able to share this knowledge with the wider development team.
    You will have good timekeeping and task management skills, able to work/lead an Agile development team.

    Key Responsibilities

    You will be responsible for liaising with existing and new clients to gather business requirements, to produce technical proposal documents in accordance with the company development strategy.
    You will be responsible for ensuring that the developers in the team are adhering to the software quality standards agreed.
    You will be able to understand and can talk about and explain to the team the importance of principles of good software design and development.
    You will be able to understand and can talk coherently about the any practices (such as refactoring, TDD and pair programming) we are implementing and their benefits.
    You will be responsible for ensuring the features developed by the team are produced to the highest possible quality in the fastest possible time and no less.
    You will be able to show the developers on the team better ways of doing things and help them improve their skills.
    You will be able to ensure the software the team is responsible for is healthy.
    You will be able to act as an example to all the developers on the team by being the person who most closely follows the principles and practices we have committed to.
    You will be able to act as example to all the developers on the team by advocating learning and taking the time to do so yourself, attaining relevant Microsoft certifications to improve the standing of the partner status with Microsoft.

    The role will be primarily office based from our offices in Manvers, Rotherham which is easily commutable from Leeds, Sheffield & Barnsley.
